There’s a way of life that looks harmless enough; look again—it leads straight to hell. Sure, those people appear to be having a good time, but all that laughter will end in heartbreak. A mean person gets paid back in meanness, a gracious person in grace. Proverbs 14: 12-14 MSG

The worst kind of deceit is the one done to self, which is when people deceive themselves and refuse to accept a glaring truth. Actions have weight and actions can predict your end. A student that is not studying his/her note does not need a prophet to prophecy failure, the answer is obvious. Chain smokers do not need to be told that they can drop dead at any time from lung disease and kidney damage. Why wait for calamity to happen before you redirect your life when you can easily avoid havocs now. Some people eat so wrongly and know the outcome, but will still wait until it becomes a threat to life before they can consider readjusting their wrong habits. You can predict your end by the way you’re living now. Every action has a consequence and every consequence has a mark it leaves on you. There are a lot of ways that seem right but are harmful. Don’t do wrong to yourself, at least give yourself a chance to be good.

Prayer of the Day: May I always act in the interest of God for my life in Jesus’ name. Every snare to mislead me is vanquished by the Blood of Jesus. I will make right choices going forward and my choices will bring great increase, favour and the mercy of God upon my life, amen.
