But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more to the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. Proverbs 4:18-19 KJV
TODAY’S THOUGHT: “The ways of a man justifies the end not the beginning.”
It is very true that the way one lives his/her life will determine the end of such life. Beginning can be very deceiving most times especially when one is living in wrong and practicing wickedness. It will appear as if wicked people are being more successful, it is a ploy by the devil to make them to continue in their wicked act in order to keep their head buried in shame and regret later on. The way of the wicked is as darkness, that is to say the future is blind and cannot see anything, its empty and void of greatness. When the future of a man is blind, the next thing that happens is fall.
Don’t let anyone deceive you, righteousness pays. The path of the just is as the shining light that illuminates life’s and destiny, this is the reason why people grow and remain at the top, because righteous people are always matching forward, reason being that the light keep shining the path for them. The light that accompanies just and holy people is unquenchable, if the character is not altered their step cannot be derailed. The light is significance for sight, and a seeing eye is a receiving hand. What you sow in character and practice is what determines the sum total of what you’ll see at the end. The upright can see the future and be shielded by God from harms way while the wicked don’t see their fall coming. Spiritual alertness usually accompanies the just while spiritual thoughtlessness accompanies the wicked.
Shun wickedness and every traceable act attached to wrongful living.
Chose to be good. Its an error to be wicked and end in hell, while you can be righteous and rest with God in heaven.
Father I receive the grace to be righteous in my dealings with You and men. Every trace of darkness in me is set on fire in Jesus Name. I step into the light of God today and going forward. Amen.
