Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer you in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods, nor worship the golden image which you have set up. Daniel 3:16-18 KJV
TODAY’S THOUGHT: “Life will always test what you believe in at one point or another.”
Believing in God doesn’t eradicate test. In fact, believing in God should make you sensitive to the issues of life. Life will always test what you believe in and the outcome of the test is what will determine the height or the low of your life. The great fathers of faith from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob believed God and were tested to ascertain their confession. Because when man declares his belief, God watches the actions to see if they will align with what his lips has said.
Our Biblical reference for today was on three men, who believed God and refused to be intimidated by the king’s command to disbelief their convictions. Beloved, life will test you and I, our responses to these tests are going to determine how far we’ll walk with God. Abraham was tested on different occasions, the most conversant was when he was instructed by God to sacrifice Isaac, the son of the promise. He passed the test and it further took him up in his service to God. See with the eyes of hope, approach challenges like a passage to the next level, because in the real sense test indicates a new season, once you maintain a positive attitude, you’ll surely overcome and it will usher you to new height you’ve never reached before. Be positive all the time, no matter what the weather might suggest, don’t alter your positivity.
Be firm in your service to God. Don’t ever allow anything to make you doubt God. Trust in Him at all times and He’ll never put you to shame.
Make a decision to live by and decide never to resort to anything that is not God or doesn’t represent Biblical principles for living.
I receive strength to withstand any adversity and say no in Jesus name. May I see you in every situations of my life, help me to give You; Your place O LORD and may nothing contend with You for me in Jesus Mighty Name.
It is well with you! you’ll experience good speed in this season.
