Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, the Lord knows them that are His. And, Let everyone that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2Timothy 2:19 KJV

TODAY’S THOUGHT: “If you decide to follow God, follow Him and don’t deviate from His path.”

We have a lot of good Christians with good intention to serve the Lord, but God is not aware of them or does not count their service worthy because of unrighteousness/iniquity. The reality of God is that He does not pretend with what He wants, our God does not conceal information and He does not delight Himself in seeing us suffer, which is the major reason why He gives us condition for service. Oftentimes people make it seem as if it is expensive to follow God, it isn’t expensive at all, it is fun filled. Obedience to God gives us access to Him. When you know what God hates and then turn aside to do it you’re calling for troubles. That mercy is available is not an avenue to be unrighteous. To some extent it is better not to know than to know what God stands for and still faulter.

It is not negotiable, neither is it a topic for consideration. It is a command that we must obey, He is a holy God and those who follow Him must serve Him firstly in truth and secondly in spirit. If truth is in you, then God is around. Don’t jeopardize your future by being two-faced. If you belong to God you must find His ways interesting, don’t allow yourself to be used to ridicule the body of Christ. Don’t partake in evil and hide under the umbrella of Church, God hates people that hides under Him to perform evil, people who do such are cursing themselves and cutting-short their life and destiny, unless they genuinely repent calamity will come unannounced for playing unrighteousness with the name of the Lord.

You cannot serve two masters. Whatsoever you serve determines the settlement you’ll receive and your faithfulness at the place of service determines the weight of your reward.

Whatsoever you want to do; do it well, if you want to follow God, follow well. Those who do things well are usually called upon all the time.

May your life and activities be smeared/covered with the presence of God going forward in Jesus name. Receive the grace to concentrate on God and avoid the enticement of evil. The Lord will help you.
