I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: you that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence. And give Him no rest, till He establish, and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Isaiah 62: 6-7 KJV

If you don’t confront what is chasing you head-on, you might end-up as a casualty. If a situation denies you your peace and rest of mind, fight back via prayer by denying the situation rest. The challenge is people don’t know how to chase what is chasing them they rather leave it to chance and wishful thinking, hoping that deliverance will just occur, no! Deliverance doesn’t just occur; individuals that have contacted the grace of God through prayers activate deliverance. A giraffe that is chased by a lion doesn’t stand still hoping that the lion will show mercy, as the lion is racing to devour, the giraffe is racing for survival. This is how life is: you must race to rise, and you race via prayer.

Maintain your watch and pray fervently until you see a sign that something that looks like your expectation is appearing. Receive strength for the days ahead in the name of Jesus. Nothing wears-out resistance like persistence, if you can insist you can have it. Insist with the authority in the name of God and your turn will come. Do not relax and give up on God and in prayer. Don’t ever feel you’ve asked God too much, His not complaining about your asking, don’t stop asking it, until its granted. Desperation is the fuel that keeps persistence going, how bad do you want it? If you really need it, you must learn to bend the knee and pray to God earnestly, fervently and continuously until your desire enters your hand. God will fill your mouth with praise and thanksgiving early in this month in Jesus’ name, amen.

Today’s thought: “Confrontation wears-out resistance.”

Keynote: Let your prayer life be persistent and constant. Pray all the time.

Counsel: Train yourself to learn how to pray, draw a prayer timetable if need be and be faithful to your commitment with God.

Prayer: Lord, I ask that you engrace my life with the discipline for consistent prayer. Help me to see Your face, glory and to know You more and establish Your plans and purpose for me this month early in Jesus Mighty Name I pray, amen.
